Hex N Type Connectors
We are pleased to announce our new range of N type plugs with Hexagonal nut. The N connector comes with two different styles of coupling nut. One is knurled and the other is a hexagonal type and can be tightened using a spanner if required. Having said that, it is important that the connector is not over tightened as this will damage the connector and possibly the mating N connector. The connectors are available on a pre order basis but eventually will be from stock. Crimp Connector - The body is manufactured from brass and is fully turned. The plating is nickel over gold for the body and crimp sleeve and the male contact is brass with gold plating.
The clamp style connector - The body is manufactured from brass and is fully turned. The plating is nickel over gold for the body and associated parts and the male contact is brass with gold plating. The clamp system is the professional style pressure sleeve type with a top hat that pushes into the cable between the dielectric and the braid with a silicone rubber gasket that is compressed with a clamp nut. There is a washer between the clamp nut and the gasket to ensure the gasket does not snag as the nut is tightened. This style of clamping to the cable is probably the best in the market as the cable retention properties are fantastic.
We can supply all RF cable types to suit these connectors so please don't forget to look at our range of cables.
